How Vobile describes itself
Vobile Group calls itself "a leading global platform and service provider for digital content asset protection and transactions" (vobile.com). It says its system for content identification, monitoring and transaction services rests on "core patented technologies such as VDNA digital fingerprinting and digital watermarking", and that VDNA still recognises content "altered through editing, intercutting, tampering, or even changes in format, bitrate, or resolution" (VDNA).
For anti-piracy, its VideoTracker service "monitors all video sharing sites and protocols worldwide including live, streaming, direct download, social media, linking sites, search engines, P2P and mobile apps", and sends takedown notices "to the core infrastructure distributing infringing content". On the rights side, RightsID monitors use of content on social platforms to help clients confirm their rights and secure advertising revenue. Vobile traces VDNA to an office its founders set up in Silicon Valley in 2005 (Group overview), and Vobile Group has been listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since January 4, 2018 (FAQ).
Where DigiGuardians differs
DigiGuardians is enforcement-first. We find piracy across search results, streaming sites, social feeds, cyberlockers and Telegram channels, remove it through takedown notices, delistings and platform escalation carried through until the copy is gone, report every link found and every removal confirmed, and keep watching so re-uploads and mirror domains are removed again and again. The work is analyst-led rather than left to automation.
You don't upload your material to us: nothing is copied or stored on our side. Your own marketing sits on a whitelist from day one, so trailers, clips and promotional uploads are never touched.
