This Privacy Policy describes the policies of DIGIGUARDIANS Inc, 611 Wilshire Boulevard 17th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90017, United States of America (the), email: [email protected], phone: +902124035452 on the collection, use and disclosure of your information that we collect when you use our website (https://digiguardians.com). (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not consent to the same, please do not access or use the Service.
We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time without any prior notice to you and will post the revised Privacy Policy on the Service. The revised Policy will be effective 180 days from when the revised Policy is posted in the Service and your continued access or use of the Service after such time will constitute your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We therefore recommend that you periodically review this page.
How We Use Your Information:
We will use the information that we collect about you for the following purposes:
- Marketing/ Promotional
- Enforce T&C
- Support
- Site protection
If we want to use your information for any other purpose, we will ask you for consent and will use your information only on receiving your consent and then, only for the purpose(s) for which grant consent unless we are required to do otherwise by law.
How We Share Your Information:
We will not transfer your personal information to any third party without seeking your consent, except in limited circumstances as described below:
- Analytics
- Advertising and conversion measurement
- Customer relationship management
- Email delivery
- Meeting scheduling
The third-party providers we currently rely on are:
- Amplitude (Amplitude, Inc.) — product analytics. We measure how the website is used: pages viewed, which buttons and links are clicked, and whether a form was started, consented to, submitted or failed. These events never contain the details you type into our forms — no name, no email address, no company name and no message text. How they reach Amplitude is decided by your cookie choice. If you accept analytics cookies, Amplitude’s own code runs in your browser, sets the cookies described under “Cookies Etc.” below, and receives your IP address, from which it derives the city and country an event came from. If you decline, the same events are sent from our server instead: nothing is stored in your browser, your IP address is not passed on, and each event carries an identifier our server derives fresh every day, so it cannot be linked back to you or to your earlier visits.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — website analytics, and the account we connect to Google Ads. It runs only if you accept analytics cookies: decline, and Google’s tag is never loaded and this site sends Google nothing. If you accept, the same events described above are also sent to Google, together with the page address, the page title and the address that referred you, and Google sets the
_gacookies described under “Cookies Etc.” below. Google receives your IP address and uses it to derive an approximate location. As with Amplitude, these events never contain the details you type into our forms. Whether this data may also be used for advertising — conversion measurement and remarketing audiences in Google Ads — is a separate choice: that happens only if you also accept marketing cookies, and we send Google both of your answers as consent signals on every request. - Pipedrive (Pipedrive OÜ) — customer relationship management. The details you submit through the forms on this website — your name, business email address, company name and the message you write — are recorded in our Pipedrive account so that we can answer your enquiry and keep track of the conversation.
- Email delivery — the same form submissions are also sent to our corporate mailboxes as an email notification, so that a person sees them.
- Google Calendar (Google LLC) — appointment scheduling. Our booking page can show Google’s appointment calendar inside the page. It is not there when the page opens: it appears once you submit the booking form, or when you press the button that loads it. The exception is when our own booking form is unavailable — then a wide screen shows the calendar straight away, so that you can still book a time. Once the calendar loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies in your browser, under Google’s own privacy policy.
We require such third party’s to use the personal information we transfer to them only for the purpose for which it was transferred and not to retain it for longer than is required for fulfilling the said purpose.
International Transfers:
Amplitude, Inc. and Google LLC process the data described above on servers in the United States, so these transfers take your information outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. We rely on the transfer safeguards set out in the data processing terms of each of these providers. If you would like details of the safeguards that apply to a specific provider, write to us at [email protected] and we will provide them.
We may also disclose your personal information for the following: (1) to comply with applicable law, regulation, court order or other legal process; (2) to enforce your agreements with us, including this Privacy Policy; or (3) to respond to claims that your use of the Service violates any third-party rights. If the Service or our company is merged or acquired with another company, your information will be one of the assets that is transferred to the new owner.
Your Rights:
Depending on the law that applies, you may have a right to access and rectify or erase your personal data or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to the active processing of your data, ask us to share (port) your personal information to another entity, withdraw any consent you provided to us to process your data, a right to lodge a complaint with a statutory authority and such other rights as may be relevant under applicable laws. To exercise these rights, you can write to us at [email protected]. We will respond to your request in accordance with applicable law.
You may opt-out of direct marketing communications or the profiling we carry out for marketing purposes by writing to us at [email protected].
Do note that if you do not allow us to collect or process the required personal information or withdraw the consent to process the same for the required purposes, you may not be able to access or use the services for which your information was sought.
Cookies Etc.
What is stored on your device is the short list below. Only the first two are stored whatever you choose; everything after them depends on the answer you gave in the cookie banner, and advertising cookies appear only if you accept marketing cookies. You can clear all of them at any time in your browser settings, and you can change either choice from the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.
- Your cookie choice (local storage, not a cookie) — so that we do not ask again on every page. Strictly necessary; kept until you clear it.
- Your theme preference (local storage, not a cookie) — light or dark. Strictly necessary; kept until you clear it.
- Cookies whose names begin with
AMP_— set by Amplitude, and only if you accept analytics cookies. One recognises your browser across visits, so that a returning visitor counts as one person rather than as a new one each time; the other records how you first arrived at the site (the referring page or campaign). Both expire after 12 months. Amplitude also keeps two entries in local storage: events it has not managed to send yet, and its own configuration. - Cookies whose names begin with
_ga— set by Google Analytics, and only if you accept analytics cookies. One (_ga) recognises your browser across visits, so that a returning visitor counts as one person; the other (_ga_followed by our property identifier) holds the state of your current session. Both expire after two years. - Google’s advertising cookies (
_gcl_auand similar) — set only if you accept marketing cookies. They connect a visit to an advertisement you clicked, so that Google Ads can measure a conversion, and they can be used to build remarketing audiences. They expire after 90 days. If you decline marketing cookies, none of them are set and we tell Google on every request that advertising storage is denied. - Google’s calendar cookies — only on our booking page, and only once Google’s appointment calendar loads there. See the description under “How We Share Your Information” above.
If you decline analytics cookies, neither Amplitude nor Google stores anything on your device, Google’s tag is not loaded at all, and we still measure the same events — on our own server, without a cookie, without a device identifier and without passing on your IP address. Declining costs you nothing and costs us the ability to tell a returning visitor from a new one.
Security:
The security of your information is important to us and we will use reasonable security measures to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorized alteration of your information under our control. However, given the inherent risks, we cannot guarantee absolute security and consequently, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk.
Grievance / Data Protection Officer:
If you have any queries or concerns about the processing of your information that is available with us, you may email our Grievance Officer at DIGIGUARDIANS Inc, 611 Wilshire Boulevard 17th Floor Los Angeles, CA 90017, United States, email: [email protected]. We will address your concerns in accordance with applicable law.
